I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express in Sorrento Valley. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, and the quiet environment provided a peaceful retreat. Though parking felt a bit scarce at times, I always found a spot. I highly recommend this location for those looking for comfort and convenience.

I stayed at a Standard King Room and found the location to be very convenient, with a Starbucks and other essentials just across the street. The staff was incredibly helpful, ensuring we had a smooth check-in and addressing any needs we had during our stay. The breakfast had plenty of options and was quite good. However, the breakfast area was chaotic due to renovations, so I hope that gets sorted out soon.

Checking in felt promising, as the location was great for visiting local companies and UCSD. Unfortunately, the rooms were a letdown, the first had stained bedding, while the second featured a leaking sink and a constantly running toilet. Despite the nice front desk staff and the decent breakfast, the hotel needs significant maintenance and a fresh touch.

We had an awesome time staying here with my friends. Close to the beach and we got to explore the San Diego Zoo and La Jolla Beach. The breakfast was solid and having a Starbucks nearby is a big win. It's a quiet area, only about a 15-minute drive to downtown attractions.

The Queen Suite was pretty spacious. The beds were super comfy, and the pillows were nice and fluffy. The location was quiet, which was a big plus! Breakfast was solid too, with lots of options, and there’s a Starbucks right out front, which was awesome. Had some minor issues about the fridge noise, but it didn't ruin the stay.

My stay here was fantastic with beautifully renovated rooms and the best coffee I've ever had at breakfast, making it a delightful way to fuel up before exploring nearby attractions like the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution and enjoying the green spaces around. as a single traveler, I appreciated the easy access to local dining options like Punjabi Tandoor and Starbucks less than a 5-minute walk away, but I wish they provided water in the rooms for a little extra comfort.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a fitness center, and a heated swimming pool. The staff helped me find parking on my first stay, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend you stay here! I'm coming back for Easter.
